🏑 Community Rent Support

We Keep Each
Other Housed

If enough of us give a little, someone stays in their home.
When you're able, you do the same for someone else.

No pressure. No shame. Just people showing up for each other.

Built from a real moment of need

I'm building this because I need help with rent this month, but I also think this points to something bigger.

Life is getting harder for a lot of us. More people are trying to hold it together quietly, and more support exists than we give each other credit for.

The problem is that getting support online often rewards whoever is willing to expose every detail of their life just to be seen. Not everyone wants to do that, and they should still be able to get help.

This is an early attempt at something simpler: small support from a lot of us, without forcing someone to turn their hardship into content.

It also exists because too many existing platforms take too much money out or still leave people stuck in the same cycle. This is about testing whether a more direct, more human model can work.

Four simple steps

See someone who needs help

Browse real people who are close to losing their housing. No elaborate sob stories required.

Give a small amount β€” $1 is enough

Your contribution combines with hundreds of others. Small amounts add up fast.

When you need help, the community shows up

If life gets hard for you, this same community is here. You've already been part of it.

When you're back on your feet, you help the next person

No obligation, no enforcement. Just a shared understanding that we take turns carrying each other.

This Only Works If We All Participate

Some of us give Some of us need help Most of us do both

Most of us do both β€” just at different times.

If you ever receive help here, the only ask is simple:
come back and help someone else when you can.

Need help with rent?

Tell us a little about your situation. You don't need to overshare β€” just enough for the community to understand.

Before you give or apply

When does money get released? Once a request reaches the minimum threshold (50%), support can begin releasing after review. The rest continues building until fully funded.
What if a request is not fully funded? If a request doesn’t reach full funding, partial support may still be released once the minimum threshold is met. Each request clearly shows its release terms.
How long do deposits take? Support can begin releasing once the minimum threshold is reached. The full questions page explains timing, deposits, and what happens next.
